Fore School team felicitated by the United Nations

Team Antar recognised for Abhiwadan event organised in association with HelpAge India

The Social Committee of the FORE School of Management, Antar, was felicitated by the United Nations in late September in recognition of their flagship event, Abhiwadan. Abhiwadan is organised by team Antar in association with Help-Age India. It is a cultural event where senior citizens from various elder-care homes are invited and various activities are organised for them. The event titled "Ageing with Dignity through Inter-generational Bonding" was brought together by Anugraha and the United Nations Information Centre for India & Bhutan.

Prof Shallini Taneja facilitated this opportunity with help from the students, especially Sahil Khanna, Charuvi Singhal, Bhavyata Jain, Anisha Patni, Ruchi Punia, Hitesh Kumar.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from the students of FORE, many of whom volunteered for the event. Students performed dances, a skit and sang songs. And there were special performances by the faculty as well. The elders also participated, singing, shaking a leg and sharing their experiences with the students.
