Here’s your chance to showcase HR talent

Registration for the NHRDN’s competition for HR professionals and students is on

Do you think you have it in you, to be the next big thing in the HR industry? That your HR knowledge and skills is better than that of your peers? You think you’ve got what it takes to set a trend in the human capital space? If you’ve answered yes to all the questions, then here’s your chance to showcase your talent and competitiveness on a platform.

National HRD Network, or NHRDN, has announced The NHRDN - Prof Ram Charan Young HR Icon Awards – 2015, for HR professionals and students. This award is the second in its series to recognise and reward ‘emerging talent’ in the human capital space.

This competition aims to identify the next big things in the HR category through two award categories — Young HR Icon Award for Professionals and Young HR Icon Award for Students.

How it works

The ‘National Young HR Icons’ will be identified using a three-stage evaluation process, which will assess participants on a comprehensive set of criteria, such as academic excellence, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, thought-leadership and contribution to the community. These will be marked by an underlying set of competencies that are considered critical to be successful HR practitioners.

Those who ace the competition will then be presented with the award at the NHRDN flagship event, the 19th National Conference, that is scheduled to be held on November 19 and 20 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi.

What are the takeaways?

It will provide a unique opportunity to HR professionals and students to demonstrate their creativity, knowledge and professional process.

It will build leadership and teamwork qualities.

It will refine and revalidate information base and harness presentation skills.

It will analyse, evaluate and benchmark their point of view on the topical theme.

The awards stand to provide a high-visibility platform to young leaders and give them the opportunity to interact with the who’s who of the HR fraternity, as well as a chance to outshine peer talent and earn their space in the limelight.

Beside unique exposure and learnings, the competition also offers powerful opportunity to showcase creativity, knowledge, leadership skills and professional prowess so as to achieve a sense of achievement and recognition with several attractive awards trophies and cash prizes.

Cash prizes:

Winner: ₹150,000

First runner-up: ₹100,000

Second runner-up: ₹50,000

This is given in each award category, (Professionals and students), along with a Certificate of Merit and a trophy.
