ICFAI Business School’s case “Conflicting Business Approaches of Two Generations: The Otsuka Family Showdown”, written by Professor Debapratim Purkayastha and Ranjana Tiwari won the award in the ‘Family Business’ category at the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Case Writing Competition 2016.
The competition is organised every year by the EFMD, a global membership organisation and accreditation body for quality and impact assessment in management that is based in Brussels, Belgium, with offices in Asia and the Americas. The winners in other categories included cases from business schools such as IMD, ESADE Business School, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, Technical University of Munich, Singapore Management University, IIM Bangalore, and several others.
