Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has secured the fourth rank in India, and third rank among all IIMs, in the FT Rankings for its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), under the Masters in Management (MiM) Category. IIM Indore has also bagged the 25th rank among B-schools in Asia in the QS Global MBA Rankings — with fourth position among the IIMs and fifth among B-schools in India.
The institute will complete 25 years in October 2021. Director Himanshu Rai congratulated all the stakeholders of the institute for their continued support. “We look forward to moving ahead in line with our mission with determination and grit,” he added.
The FT Ranking parameters were broadly divided into alumni career progress, school diversity and international experience and research, which were further categorised into 21 criteria. These included number of participants enrolled, company internships, and average course length. The QS Ranking methodological framework included six metrics — academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio. The ranking indicators included thought leadership, return on investment, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, employability and diversity.
Recently, IIM Indore also secured sixth position in the NIRF Ranking 2021.
