The Indian Institute of Management Indore, in association with Anisuma Training Institute, Dubai, UAE, has launched a General Management Programme for Executives in Indore and Dubai.
The 21-day programme, which starts from June, is designed to inculcate strong conceptual frameworks in business and management skills by mixing classroom contact with group discussions and networking. The programme will be delivered on one Friday and Saturday every month, on pre-announced dates, in Dubai, with the last module of five days held at IIM Indore campus.
The pedagogy includes the case study method of learning, classroom lectures, exercises, role-play and simulations, peer group discussions, presentations, and industrial visits. A total of 12 faculty members will train the participants. The group is a mix of distinguished academicians and researchers who have worked extensively in the private and public sectors.
The participants will learn about managerial accounting, strategic business negotiations, financial management, entrepreneurship, strategic management, international business communications, digital marketing, leadership and customer relation management.
Prof Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, said: “In continuation with our endeavours to reach out to the world with best management practices, we are launching our executive programmes in Dubai, in association with our Dubai partner — Anisuma Training Institute. With this, we wish to inspire innovative management education based on international practices.”
The last date for registration is May 26.
