IIM Kozhikode commemorated its 21st anniversary by organising a national level entrepreneurship summit, Start-o-Sphere’19, on January 26 and 27. The event aimed to establish a platform that nurtures entrepreneurship and supports start-ups by providing them a launch pad in the form of networking, mentorship and fund-raising opportunities.
Start-o-Sphere is an entrepreneurship summit that connects emerging entrepreneurs with business leaders from national and international organisations. The summit will see a host of activities ranging from workshops and panel discussions to events such as ‘10 minute million’.
More than a 100 select start-ups and prominent investors, such as TCA, MAN, IAN, HAN, 3i, and Ah! Ventures, took part. The event has gained support from ecosystem partners such as NASSCOM 10,000 start-ups — Start-up Village, Ginserv, TiE Kerala, Zinnov Consulting and FHS Accelerator.
