IIM Kashipur wins Delhi semi-finals

The runners-up were a second team from the institute

A team comprising the trio of Abhinav Kumar, Srishti Jovita Toppo and Hrishabh Satankar from Indian Institute of Management Kashipur won the Delhi leg of the BLoC Boardroom Challenge 2020. It was a clean sweep for IIMK as the runner up too is from IIMK with Ankan Roy, Ashish Kapoor and Patel Raj Dashrathbhai the team members.

The contest featured only two teams in the Delhi round as the two other teams pulled out at the last minute. The students had to present a branding strategy for an FMCG brand and also discuss how this brand could shore up its falling market shares in emerging categories. The teams were scored on their understanding and analysis of the case, the case solution, their presentations and also on team work. The winning team from IIMK will now meet the winners of the semi-finals from other eight cities in the finals.

The jury for the semi-finals comprised KS Rao, Senior Vice President & Head, Investor Education & Distribution Development, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd, Anuj Kapoor, Asst Professor of Marketing, IIMA, and Prasanna Borah, Chief Information Officer, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.
