IIM Lucknow has entered into an institutional alliance with Harvard Business School (HBS).
Under the alliance, two faculty members from IIM Lucknow, Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh Sinha recently attended the ‘Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) Faculty Workshop’ at the HBS’ Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness (ISC) in Boston. Research papers were presented on the first day, and the next two days were devoted to the faculty workshop during the event. Prominent speakers during the session were Michael E. Porter, Christian H.M. Ketels, Jorge Ramirez-Vallejo and Laura Alfaro.
As a part of the affiliate network of this institute at HBS, IIM Lucknow shall be able to access the continuously updated MOC teaching material developed by Prof Porter and the ISC. The elective course on 'Microeconomics of Competitiveness; shall be offered to students of different programmes at IIM Lucknow in the coming year.
Also, IIM Lucknow will be able to use the Harvard expertise in cluster development at local government level too.
