Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN) and Westminster Business School, University of Westminster (United Kingdom) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen management education with an engagement through joint research and teaching, student exchanges among others.
In a virtual ceremony held on Wednesday, Katalin Illes, Associate Head, WBS, emphasised the WBS focuses on forging partnerships based on a solid foundation of shared values. Illes also acknowledged the value of research combined with industry application, and expressed her hope for students of both institutions to benefit from the collaboration.
Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur, termed the MoU as the beginning of a new era between IIMN and WBS, UK. “The MoU would result in setting new benchmarks in management education by way of impactful, quality engagement and research, joint programmes and knowledge sharing opportunities between the two institutions,” he said. With the partnership, the two institutions look for fruitful engagements such as joint research and teaching, student exchanges, and international immersion.
