IIM Raipur will be hosting the second edition of its Global Summit of Management Cases (GSMC) on February 5 and 6. The summit intends to build a platform for case writers, academicians and people from industry to come and present cases in the area of business and management.
It aims to highlight real time challenges and problems encountered by entrepreneurs and corporate in the ever changing times of today.
The summit will also focus on opportunities to share ideas, to improve case writing skills besides facilitating to meet colleagues and disseminate experiences of using case method of teaching. Cases are invited across the world from faculties, researchers, practitioners, consultants and others.
Some of the speakers attending the event include William W. Kooser, the Associate Dean for Global Outreach at the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business; and Preeti D'mello, Leadership Development and Systemic Coaching & Mentoring at Tata Consultancy Services; and Ashwini Deshpande, the co-founder of Elephant, India's largest independent integrated design consultancy.
The two-day summit includes fifteen technical sessions and one panel discussion. The panel discussion will be on the topic ‘Making Management Relevant: Learning through Relevant Cases’.
