IIM Trichy partners with Young Indians

The pact offers short-term leadership workshops and other entrepreneurial activities

Indian Institute of Management, Trichy has inked a pact with Young Indians (Yi), Trichy, to conduct various short-term leadership workshops and other allied activities for the entrepreneurs in and around. Through this MoU, it is proposed that the students of IIM Trichy will do live projects from the industries based out of the district.

The MoU was signed by Director Metri and Ketan J Vora, Yi Trichy Chair, and C Pradeep, Yuva Trichy Chair. Speaking about the MoU, Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Trichy, said that, Yi and IIM Trichy will work together to help start-ups, young entrepreneurs, and also help build the brand image for Trichy.

Yi, an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organisation. Yuva, one of the active focus areas within Yi, allows the Yi members engage with students from across the country in various initiatives that the students conceptualise, plan, and execute. The objective is “to create a platform for the students to work in cross-functional teams with a broad objective of enhancing their leadership skills.”
