IIM-A virtually inaugurates the first batch of ePGP

The first batch has 53 participants from 13 cities across the country

IIM-A, on August 29, virtually inaugurated the first batch of ePGP 2017-19. The programme was inaugurated by Ashish Nanda, Director, IIM-A, from the Hughes e-Learning Studio located at IIM-A’s new campus.

ePGP is a two-year e-mode post-graduate diploma programme with an added flexibility of completion in three years. With this, IIM-A will expand its reach across India as participants in any city can pursue the programme at the place of their choice. Hughes Education India Limited will be the technology partner.

The sessions for this programme would be conducted by IIM-A faculty from the Hughes studio. It is meant for working professionals and entrepreneurs having a minimum full-time work experience of three years. The campus module of the ePGP 2017-19 batch is scheduled to begin on October 2.

The first batch has 53 participants who will pursue this course from 13 cities across the country. About 79 per cent of the first batch holds a BE/BTech degree and the majority belong to IT services, oil and gas, healthcare and financial services sectors. About 30 per cent of the participants have three-five years work experience, 21 per cent have six-10 years work experience and 24.5 per cent candidates have 11-15 years experience. There are 51 male candidates and two women.
