IIM-A's annual cultural festival Chaos kicks off

It is now an ISO 9001:2008 certified event

Indian Institute of Management – Ahmadabad’s (IIM-A) annual cultural extravaganza Chaos-2017 kicked-off today, Thursday January 26. The theme this time is wanderlust .

The theme allows the attendees to unleash their wanderlust, explore the extravaganza and make memories that will last a lifetime. The event will continue till January 29.

Ankit Parmar, Secretary for Chaos 2017, said that the festival is now an ISO 9001:2008 certified event, marking the recognition of quality and standards it has been delivering through the years.

Listing out the attractions at the four-day event, Parmar said that the up-and-coming band The Local Train will open the pro-nites on January 26, followed by the Submerge College Jam DJ performance on January 27.

Bollywood musician duo from Gujarat Sachin-Jigar will be enthralling the audience with mix of Gujarati and Bollywood songs on January 28. The final day will culminate with a mesmerizing performance by singer KK.

Besides musical performances, the event will also include competitions in dance, drama and the literary arena, along with engaging workshops, stand-up comedy by Biswa Kalyan Rath and a fashion competition.

For the first time ever, the festival has an adventure sports arena with paintball, archery, human zorbing, rifle shooting and sky riding.
