IIMA’s Women Leadership Society hosts Women Leadership Summit

Event to be held in association with IIMA’s Confluence 2015

The Women Leadership Society at IIM, Ahmedabad, in association with IIMA’s Confluence 2015, will be hosting the first Women Leadership Summit at IIMA on November 27. It will be a forum where present day leaders and leaders of the future converge to discuss issues that are pertinent to the workplace and emergence of leadership.

The theme of the summit will be 'Changing Times'. Keeping in mind the rapid changes taking place in the workplace today, distinguished women leaders from diverse domains such as civil services, software technology, social entrepreneurship, pharmaceuticals and consumer care will share their leadership principles and practices that led them to the top. They will discuss the changing roles of women in business, education and politics, as well as the challenges and opportunities women in positions of authority are faced with today and how it can be taken to the next level.

Events to be held as a part of the Summit include a speaker session by Sheetal Kharka, MD and Founder, Innocent Heroes Foundation; a panel discussion chaired by Prof. Neharika Vohra, IIMA with panellists Dr. Kalpana Gopalan, Principal Secretary at Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, Govt. of Karnataka, Nitin Parekh, Chief Financial Officer at Zydus Cadilla, Nimita Limaye, Vice President - Pharma, CDM, Medical Writing and Risk- based monitoring, Laxmi Char, Founder, DEVI and Mythreyee Ganapathy, Principal Program Manager, Microsoft.
