PGP, EPGP and PGPPM programmes ranked first in Central Asia

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has been ranked No. 1 in Central Asia for three of its long-duration programmes -- the two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), the one-year Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM) and the one-year fulltime residential Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP), in the Eduniversal 2015-16 Best Masters Ranking .

The Best Masters and MBA programmes in 30 fields of studies is an annual global ranking released by Eduniversal, the international ranking agency specialized in higher education, based in Paris, France.

“The award, and the international recognition that it brings with it, mean a lot to us. With Eduniversal, the awards are more broad-based and not formula-driven. The Eduniversal 2015 Global Rankings highlight the academic excellence of our programmes. We have renewed our presence as the top management school in Central Asia, having been recognised as the No 1 Business School in the zone for three of our long-duration programmes,” said Prof Ishwar Murthy, Dean Faculty, IIM Bangalore.

The Rankings

The Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking is an important source of information and is often used by students and companies to determine the quality of an institution, its programmes and graduates. Each year this ranking evaluates more than 12,000 postgraduate programmes. The final ranking is determined through a global survey of 5,000 international recruiters, 800,000 students and over 10,000 representatives from 1,000 academic institutions in 154 countries.

The Eduniversal Evaluation System is based on three main criteria: the reputation of the programme, the salary of first employment after graduation, and student satisfaction. The information is provided by institutions during the Best Masters Survey and verified by the Ranking Department of Eduniversal.
