IIM-B hosts Prayaas Day for eighth year

Event, which provides a platform for differently abled to share their talent, to take place on January 24

Prayaas Day, an annual event aimed at making a difference to society which was started by students of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B)’s Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP), is celebrating its eighth year on January 24. This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating Abilities’, and hopes to provide a platform for the differently abled to share their talent, spirit and achievements.

Apart from the main event itself, Prayaas conducts various activities throughout the year. Komal Kamra, Director (Development), The Spinal Foundation, said in a press release, “We at The Spinal Foundation are very excited to be associated with Prayaas Day and IIMB-EPGP. We are sure that institutes of repute such as IIM Bangalore taking a lead in championing this cause will bring in a renewed vigour in promoting inclusiveness. We hope that through this event, we will be able to showcase the immense potential that differently-abled persons have and celebrate some of the success stories.”
