The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has been listed among the top 50 in the QS Masters in Management Ranking 2018, released recently.
“We are delighted that IIM-B’s Post Graduate Programme has been ranked among the top 25 Masters in Management Programmes in the world. It gives us confidence that the various initiatives that we have undertaken such as emphasis on research, innovations in teaching methods and focus on providing our students with international experience, are in the right direction. Such global recognition also makes us committed to continuing our relentless efforts in setting high standards for ourselves and exceeding them,” said Prof Sourav Mukherji, Dean of Academic Programmes at IIM-B.
The rankings assess management schools, across the world, based on five metrics: alumni outcomes, class and faculty diversity, employability, thought leadership, and value for money.
Efforts towards strengthening IIM-B’s research and teaching have paid handsome dividends by creating impact and enhancing the management school’s international reputation.
The PGP, Executive PGP, doctoral and Executive Education Programmes are also well placed in global rankings.
