Delhi-based Indian Management Institute (IMI) recently celebrated the Silver Jubilee anniversary for its batch of 1990 and the Crystal Jubilee Anniversary for the 2000 batch, along with the students of the 1995 batch.
The meet took place on Saturday at the IMI campus and was attended by almost 452 alumni, many of whom have assumed senior positions in companies like IBM India, DNA Retail Corp, Religare, HDFC Realty, and BHEL etc.
Director General of IMI Bakul Dholakia also announced the launch of Connexion ’15 - the annual theme based magazine of IMI during the event. The faculty and alumni got the time to bond, witness a flash mob and enjoy a stand-up comic act as well during the evening.
Highlighting the importance of such programmes, Dholakia, Director General, IMI New Delhi said, “We like to be a part of our students’ professional life long after they have left the campus. It’s a great avenue for the faculty and the alumni to share their success stories, learnings, bridge the industry-academic gap and re-live their B-school days. It was heartening to see such a massive turn out and hear alumni sharing stories of their time here. We are very proud on the success of all the IMI alumni.”
