Indian School of Business to host Digital Summit on March 11, 12

This year’s event to include new section: Start-up Showcase

The Indian School of Business (ISB) is hosting the fourth edition of the ISB Digital Summit at its Hyderabad campus on March 11 and 12. Top names from the business fraternity, academics and technology from across the globe will mark their presence as speakers at the summit.

The summit is being organised by the Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE) at ISB in association with Jigserv Digital, a popular digital marketing company, started by four alumni from the founding class of ISB.

Since its inception three years ago, this annual event has attracted over a 1000 participants, eminent business leaders, industry experts and academia and provides a platform to discuss the digital landscape, which is changing at staggering pace. This year’s conference will focus on four themes which include:

~~ Innovation and entrepreneurship

~~ Big Data and marketing analytics

~~ Platform thinking and value creation in sharing economy

~~ Mobile commerce: Hyperlocal business strategies enabled by mobile apps

Registrations are open and attendees can look forward to understanding new trends in the digital domain and figure out effective ways of leveraging the digital medium for their businesses. There is also a workshop that will be organized on March 13.

Focusing on tech entrepreneurship and start-ups, a new section “Start-up Showcase” has been added to this edition of the summit. A selection of ten start-ups doing cutting edge innovation in the digital domain will be showcased at the conference. The selected start-up entrepreneurs will also get a chance to pitch and get feedback from a panel of experienced VC’s and start-up mentors.
