IRMA student bags ₹52 lakh package

Amul was the top recruiter; median salary of the batch was ₹10.45 lakh per year

The average salary offered by the business sector organisations at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) was ₹10.80 lakh per year. A total of 314 roles from 109 organisations were offered to 199 students, and 27 students received pre-placement offers. The median salary of the batch was ₹10.45 lakh per year and the maximum offered was ₹52 lakh.

The average salary offered by the development sector such as NGOs, cooperatives and government development agencies was 10.74 lakh per year. The minimum salary offered from the sector was ₹4.80 lakh salary which was consciously chosen by a student, the institute said.

Amul top recruiter

The Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul) recruited maximum number of students, followed by Mother Dairy. Multinational and national agribusiness corporations such as Tolaram, ITC Agribusiness Division, ADM Agro, Seedworks, Adani Wilmar, and Emami Agrotech participated this placement season.

Organisations such as Vedanta Foundation, Caspian, BAIF Development Research Foundation, TVS-Srinivasan Service Trust, Government of Telangana (Dept of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development), Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, and BASIX recruited students.
