ISB receives scholarship support for students from D’Décor

Funding to help students in need by waiving off part of tuition fee

The Indian School of Business (ISB) received funding from curtain and upholstery fabrics company D’Décor to offer need-based tuition waivers to students enrolling for the B-Schools Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP).

To be called the ‘D’Décor Tuition Waiver’, the funding will be spread over a period of five years commencing immediately and support five students every year for partial waiver of their tuition fees.

An agreement to this effect was signed by Nikita Desai, Vice President, Strategy & New Business of D’décor Home Fabrics and Sanjay Singh, Director - Office of Development, ISB, in the presence of Ajay Arora, Managing Director, D’Decor Home Fabrics and Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean of ISB.

“This kind of industry support will go a long way in attracting and nurturing the best of minds for positive impact on industry and businesses in the years to come,” said Rajendra Srivastava, Dean of ISB in a statement.

“ISB has significantly improved the quality of business education in India. These students will impact the future of India. D’Decor has complete understanding that higher education has a cost which can truly be funded by those whose lives have been transformed by the success achieved by acquiring the right education and values,” said Ajay Arora, Managing Director, D’Decor Home Fabrics.

D’Décor has been a regular recruiter at ISB for the last six years.
