ISB sets up BV Jagadeesh and Anuradha Jagadeesh chair

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has set up a new chair named after noted philanthropist and entrepreneur couple, B V Jagadeesh and Anuradha Jagadeesh, in recognition of the generous and significant financial contribution made by them to the B-school in its early years. 

“I would like to thank BV Jagadeesh and Anuradha Jagadeesh for their generosity towards the Indian School of Business. Philanthropic support and contribution of well-wishers like them set the strong foundations that have enabled ISB to grow to be a world-class institution where cutting-edge research and education combine to produce some of the finest thought leaders in the country,’‘ Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB said in a release issued on Thursday,

BV Jagadeesh said: “My wife Anu and I have been entrepreneurial at heart and ISB’s vision to be a world-class, research-led management institution has always resonated with us. We wanted to be a part of this wonderful institution that was being planned by the best minds in academia and industry.’‘

Through the newly formed chair professorship, ISB would continue to provide thought leadership, he added. 

BV Jagadeesh is a seasoned entrepreneur and philanthropist who has founded and funded many enterprise start-ups such as Exodus, NetScaler, NetMagic, Nutanix, Cohesity, Balbix, Ocarina, Yodlee and many others.

Anuradha Jagadeesh is the founder of KonnectMe, a crowdfunding social platform for non-profits. She is an experienced computer science professional, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a passion for leveraging technology to promote non-profits, the release said.
