Entre Cell, the entrepreneurship society of IIM Ahmedabad, held the second edition of its flagship event ‘How to Start A Start-up (HTSAS)’ recently. The event kicked off with an inaugural lecture by Paritosh Gupta, CEO of Zoomcar. Neharika Vora, Chairperson, CIIE Initiatives (Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship) and Amit Karna, Chairperson, CIIE, who have been guiding the organising team of HTSAS, were also present.
The interactive session allowed the audience to engage with Gupta on all matters ranging from the foray of the company into its machine-learning enabled new technologies to what the future holds for the business.
The ‘How to Start a Start-up’ series was launched in 2016 with a vision to impart the experiences and learning of seasoned entrepreneurs and investors to the entire country. The theme this year was ‘Sector sweeps’. Entrepreneurs from various emerging industries talked about the nuances of starting up in their respective sectors. To provide the entire country access to these lectures, Entre Cell shared the videos of these sessions on the HTSAS IIM-A channel on YouTube. The lecture was also telecast live through a webinar to online audiences.
