LIBA scores 100 per cent placement record

The average CTC offered was ₹9 lakh per annum

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) has completed placements for its two-year flagship programme. The 2015-2017 batch comprised of 120 outgoing students. The campus placement drive had 60 recruiters inclusive of 14 first-time recruiters.

The average CTC offered was ₹9 lakh per annum, and the highest salary offered was ₹14 lakh per annum. The minimum offer stands at ₹6 lakh per annum. The 2015-17 batch received a total of six pre-placement offers.

The focus of the placements was to get recruiters from unrepresented sectors in addition to IT/ITeS and BFSI, and to provide a basket full of companies from different industries for students to choose from.

The BFSI sector emerged as the top industry recruiter this year with a 39 per cent share, followed by 21 per cent recruitment in consultancies like Deloitte, Cerebrus and Kubos. The placement season also witnessed a 2 per cent participation from companies in the digital marketing space with two students placed in Samrudh Solutions.

The remaining offers came from sectors like IT, manufacturing, FMCG, automobile, market research, real estate and logistics.

The top recruiters were ICICI Bank, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Citi Bank, Vedanta Group, JP Morgan, Siemens Financial Services, HDFC Bank and Photon.
