Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai has associated with Virginia Tech India Research and Education Forum and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), US, to invite applications for its first PG Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA), which starts in August 2018. The programme, specifically aimed at creating game-changers in industry, is now accepting applications from students and working professionals.
The PGPBA course is designed by an industry-academia collaboration and offers a global business perspective rich in opportunities and expertise. The faculty has over 30 years experience in decision theory, artificial intelligence, databases, and enterprise computing from the schools of business, engineering, computer science and science.
Under the year-long programme, students will earn a Virginia Tech certificate in business analytics, designed to prepare them for careers in government or industries that operate in big-data environments.
Industry-specific course

Eligibility
Applicants to the course must be equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, IT, IS, Business or Commerce. GRE, GMAT, CAT or other standardised scores are desirable but not essential. Evidence of two years’ experience in an IT-related field is preferable. Certified transcripts from the applicant’s UG programme are a necessity.
