MICA records 100% summer placements

There was a 25% increase in the highest stipend

MICA registered 100 per cent summer placements for the 24th batch of its flagship PGDM-Communications programme.

A total of 177 students of a batch of 180 chose to be placed through the institute’s campus placements process. And 66 companies participated in the placements, with two international recruitment partners, and 64 domestic partners.

The average domestic stipend was ₹60,200 — an increase of 15 per cent from last year. The trend of international placements from MICA continued with students securing internships overseas. The highest number of offers was made in the digital and e-commerce sector, followed closely by FMCD, retail, manufacturing, advertising, communication and brand strategy sectors. Some of the recruiters from these sectors were Amazon, Bajaj Auto, Walmart, Royal Enflield, Future Group, Shopclues, Publicis, Leo Burnett and DDB Mudra Group.

Other prominent recruiters included Disney, Sony Pictures Networks, HT Media, GroupM, RedBull, Godfrey Phillips, Beiersdorf, L’Oréal, RBL Bank and Dell.
