NAAC peer team visits Sydenham College

This was the second cycle of re-accreditation for the college

The NAAC peer team visited Sydenham College of Commerce of Economics, Mumbai on February 27 and 28. The team comprised BA Prajapati, chairperson, U Subba Rao, coordinator, and Rajesh Vyas, member.

On the first day, the peer team was accorded a traditional Indian welcome at the college gate by NSS students. The team started work by assessing presentations by the principal and the IQAC coordinator. They visited the various departments and took their presentations.

This was the second cycle of re-accreditation for the college. The team appreciated the departments for their initiatives for the overall development of students. They also visited the various societies run by students, applauding their activity reports and the exhibition of their events, the library, gymkhana, cricket pitch at Oval Maidan, and the hostels .

The team interacted with students, parents and alumni during the visit. The students gave a cultural dance performance for the peer team.

Principal Annasaheb Khemnar gave a warm welcome to the peer team members. BA Prajapati spoke on this occasion regarding the peer team’s views about the college. A formal vote of thanks was proposed by Ritesh Singhal.
