OP Jindal Global Univ students to attend short course at Wharton school

A total of 55 students from the four schools of JGU will study business and finance

OP Jindal Global University (JGU) signed an agreement with the Wharton School’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education, under which 55 students from the four schools of JGU would be visiting the Wharton School in July 2020 — for a period of 20 days — to study the course on ‘Business, Finance and Entrepreneurship for Leaders of Tomorrow’.

C Raj Kumar, Founding Vice-Chancellor, OP Jindal Global University, said, “This programme will improve the analytical and decision-making skills of students in the areas which are most relevant for doing business in this new age.”

The students from JGU will learn how the balance of business, finance and technology shifts rapidly in India and around the world, and how stakeholders can adapt to these changes, said an institute statement.

Jagmohan S Raju, Vice Dean (Executive Education), Wharton School, said, “We excel at teaching courses that advance leadership skills and build business acumen, and we look forward to welcoming the first JGU cohort to Wharton Executive Education in 2020.”
