RICS SBE gets PMI-GAC accreditation

A world-class programme in construction project management is now available in India, says Director

MBA in Construction Project Management, the programme of RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, has become the first programme in India to be accredited by PMI-Global Accreditation Centre. PMI-GAC is an independent academic accreditation body with policies, procedures, and standards for project, programme, portfolio management and related programmes at the bachelors', post-graduate and doctoral degree levels.

Prof Joseph Thanikal, Associate Dean and Director, School of Construction, RICS SBE, said, “We are delighted to announce that GAC — PMI has accredited our CPM programme for five years. It was a two-year long yet inspirational process. For those aspiring a post-graduate degree in Construction Project Management, we now have a world-class programme available in India.”

RICS School of Built Environment (RICS SBE) was established in 2013 by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), in collaboration with Amity University. RICS SBE offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in construction, real-estate and infrastructure.
