SCMHRD to ring in the silver jubilee

NEEV, its annual b-school festival, to host music acts Lost Stories and Shirley Setia

Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), will host ‘NEEV’, its annual B-school festival, from December 15-17. This year’s fest coincides with the college’s silver jubilee celebrations.

Past editions of NEEV have hosted some of the biggest names in the world of business and arts from the likes of Harsha Bhogle and Kumar Manglam Birla, to KK and Raghu Dixit. NEEV is also the first festival in the country to have introduced Sunburn on campus and be associated with VH1 Supersonic and Enchanted Valley Carnival.

This year’s theme for the festival will be ‘The Encore’, which resonates with SCMHRD’s legacy and philosophy . Gabriel Jones (Group Manager, Radio Mirchi) launched the theme. His keynote was followed by a rib-tickling stand-up set by comedian Aakash Mehta and an enthralling performance by contemporary dance group Artsphere.

The three-day festival will have over 35 events such as the Atlantis Diaries – a celebrity and corporate talk show, Augustus – a hunt for the best student manager as well as customised corporate case studies and business simulations, cultural events, a fashion show and celebrity nights, a statement from SCMHRD said.

This year, the events line-up -- in association with MRF and YES Bank -- will see performances by Lost Stories, one of the only Indian acts to perform at Tomorrowland and Mysteryland, on December 15. YouTube sensation Shirley Setia will be performing on December 16 .
