SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has announced a new campus in New Delhi, where it is all set to launch a specially-designed executive management programme targeted at professionals in and around the National Capital Region.
The Post-Graduate Programme in General Management (PGP-GM) is a 24-month alternate weekend programme for working professionals. It is specially designed for executives with five or more years of work experience, who are unable to take a career break for further education.

Ranjan Banerjee, Dean, SPJIMR, said, “There are large numbers of working executives who have expressed an interest in SPJIMR but are not able to access our offerings because we were based only in Mumbai. We can now provide additional value to these potential participants by being present in New Delhi. We see Delhi and Mumbai as two key markets where we need to be present as an institute when we look at life-long learnings. Further, we see this as an opportunity to provide stronger services to the government sector over an extended period of time.”
Preeta George, Professor of Economics and Chairperson of the PGEMP programme and the upcoming PGP-GM programme in New Delhi, said, “We have built a robust executive education programme at our Mumbai campus for over 15 years and now have the opportunity to tweak that offering and take it to New Delhi. This will help us expand our reach and make SPJIMR’s renowned executive education more accessible.”

PGP-GM is designed to impart the knowledge and skills of a full-fledged executive MBA programme and is tailored specifically for middle to senior management executives. The objective of the programme is to build general management talent for companies from their pool of high-potential functional managers. It will help fast-track career growth, create a cadre of change agents and a leadership pipeline for companies.
