Symbiosis to set up start-up incubation zone

Initially 10 start-ups from the SIU students’ community will be promoted

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad (SIBM-H) will be setting up a start-up incubation zone at its campus at Kothur near here.

This was disclosed by its Director, Ravi Kumar Jain at a conference on start-up confluence organised here by the institute in association with the Nasscom.

Initially 10 start-ups from the SIU students’ community would be promoted but Symbiosis was open to providing the facility to more number of start-ups based on the response and path breaking ideas.

The SIBM-H will provide the necessary infrastructure free of cost during the incubation.

The start-ups can also have access to mentoring from Nasscom. The incubation zone at SIBM-H will provide for interaction with angel investors, venture capitalists, investors and guide the aspiring entrepreneurs on any other pertinent issues, Jain said.
