On June 14, students of United Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, under a student exchange programme, left for an international summer internship at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. UGI aims to develop talented and committed professionals who can play a lead role in the corporate world.
Students from various courses were shortlisted on the basis of their academic performance, for the 15-day internship, after a written test and interview round. Along with the students, faculty members are also on tour to mentor and guide them.
This tour aims for management students to explore their knowledge and enhance managerial skills such as team management, leadership, decision-making skills, quality management, stress management and developing their overall interpersonal skills. Interns receive professional development opportunities, network with leaders and benefit from unlimited standby travel.
Students will also get in-depth practical knowledge on various subjects such as computer science, industrial system engineering, remote sensing, telecommunication, mechatronics, geographical information system, water engineering management and updates on emerging trends and technological advancements.
