WNS and NIIT Varsity partner to launch MBA in Analytics

First batch will start in June 2016

Business process management (BPM) services firm, WNS and NIIT University (NU) has announced the launch of a two-year specialised and work-integrated MBA Programme in Business Analytics.

The programme is co-created by academic experts from NU and senior professionals from the WNS Analytics practice. Over the two-year duration of programme, students will be exposed to both academic content and work-experience at WNS.

The first part of the MBA programme will take place at the Neemrana Campus of NIIT University, followed by internship at WNS, under the supervision of the NU faculty. After the completion of programme, graduating students will be placed in key positions in the analytics practice at WNS with an average yearly compensation of ₹15 lakh.

The programme will draw upon live case-studies and practitioner-experts from WNS to ensure the right blend of academic concepts and industry application.

“While we have a large Research & Analytics practice of over 2,500 professionals, we are further looking to build on the talent supply with a customised and specialised intervention like this programme,” said said Keshav R. Murugesh, Group CEO, WNS. “The chosen students will join the WNS family skilled with a high-end programme that will change the course of their career for a lifetime.”

To be eligible for the programme, the participant should be a graduate with Mathematics as one of the subjects, followed by a minimum of 2 years work experience.

The first batch will comprise 60 students and starts in June next year. WNS will sponsoring the education and living expenses of these students investing ₹15 lakh on each student during the two years.
