XLRI is now AMBA accredited

Only 7 B-schools in India have the accreditation

India's premier B-School, XLRI Jamshedpur has been awarded the coveted international accreditation with the Association of MBAs (AMBA).

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is the international authority on postgraduate business education. It's accreditation service is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and MBM programmes. The association connects MBA students and graduates, accredited business schools, and MBA employers in more than 110 countries.

“This achievement is the result of continuous hard work and support by our faculty, employees, students and alumni and we will strive to raise the bar across all our management education-centric initiatives,” said E. Abraham SJ Director, XLRI Jamshedpur in a statement.

Apart from XLRI, only seven business schools in India have an AMBA accreditation. These include IIM Calcutta, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lucknow, IMI New Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, and Great Lakes Chennai.
