Yes Bank awards scholarships to 30 B-schoolers

Each student awarded ₹2 lakh to help pursue their entrepreneurial vision

Yes Bank has awarded 30 students from 20 top B-schools across India with the Yes Aspire scholarship. Under the thought leadership initiative, exceptional scholars with leadership qualities and holistic academic performance have been awarded ₹2 lakh each to help pursue their entrepreneurial vision.

In addition to the scholarship amount, the scholars would get the opportunity to receive mentorship from Yes Bank’s top management team and also participate in the bank’s exclusive knowledge events throughout the year.

The second edition of Yes Aspire commenced in January, inviting 250 applicants from 20 partner B-schools in India. The applications were evaluated on the basis of their academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements along with an online assessment test. The selected top 100 students shared a video SOP on ‘My Yes ASPIREations’, highlighting their aspirations and career goals. The final selections were made on the basis of a personal interview conducted with each of the shortlisted applicants.

“I believe today’s young and aspiring leaders are creating a tectonic shift in the business and entrepreneurship ecosystem in India through design thinking, innovation and creativity,” said Rana Kapoor, Managing Director and CEO of Yes Bank and Chief Mentor of Yes Aspire in a statement.

“In line with Yes Bank’s ethos of professional entrepreneurship, the scholarship aims to nurture the dreams and aspirations of India’s budding business minds and be the wind beneath their wings.”
