ICFAI Founder NJ Yasaswy awarded Visionary eduPRENEUR

Sobha Rani Yasaswy, Chairperson, ICFAI Society, received the “Visionary eduPRENEUR of India” from Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India on December 11 at Civil Services Officer’s Institute (CSOI), New Delhi. The award was posthumously conferred on late NJ Yasaswy, the founder of ICFAI Group.

Sobha Rani Yasaswy expressed her happiness on receiving the award from Dr Mukherjee and said “We want the children to grow with values, learn with commitment and lead a healthy and happy life. It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction to provide value-based education. This is ICFAI's humble attempt towards nation building."

While addressing the gathering, the former President exhorted the educators to focus on technology, inclusivity, cultural relevance and value-based and result-oriented initiatives. Dr Mukherjee was also declared the “Education President” of India, on his 83rd birthday.

Visionaries like late Yasaswy live on for ages through their stupendous vision manifested in concrete creations serving the society for long.”

Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, and Ambassador Phillipe Le Gall, High Commissioner of the Republic of Seychelles and many other educators were present.
